The EU has come to the preliminary view that X/Twitter deceives users and breaks various other rules from the DSA. Whilst no surprise X now joins Meta, Google, Apple, Tik Tok and Alibaba that are under review. The interesting bit, like Metas woes, is that a blue tick verified account is illegal as it stands, like Meta with its paid for Facebook and Instagram access plans.

Other reports say that Twitter is now losing daily users despite Elon Musk saying otherwise with an uptake after his takeover now receding and numbers are now back to mid 2022 levels.
