Well it has happened, I have paused my Youtube premium subscription and I will be cancelling soon. Why may you ask? Well it’s pretty simple – it’s not worth the £12.99 a month any longer. Recent changes to youtube policies and how well the tinternet as a whole is going I have decided that I can better spend the money elsewhere. It really is that simple. That £12.99 is a decent server for example to host a Peertube instance and have my own youtube with no ads etc. I am tempted to do that to be fair…. anyhoo it’s been good, I’ve enjoyed the time with premium but now I can branch out into other things. So long YT Premium!
