I have seen lots of people talking about the fediverse recently and the low numbers of users versus traditional platforms. This is the main reason I think that many dismiss platforms like Mastodon, Pixelfed and… Fediverse numbers, do they matter?
Dansup the creator of Pixelfed has just previewed loops.video which I guess is a Tik Tok like federated short video website. https://loops.video/ I think this will be a great idea and Dansup always seems like… Loops.video
