The UK government is doubling down and asking social media firms to toughen up age checks for under 13’s. Now whilst I feel this is something that should be done I can see a negative situation happening across social media where these firms are charging for age verification. I was recently asked to verify myself and couldn’t complete the checks for various reasons and got charged a 33p transaction fee from Paypal because of this…. thousands of 33p adds up quickly doesn’t it!
