I have talked about this many times, simply because AI is so fraught to dangers and criticisms and for a lot of things it can be just plain wrong (we have all seen the AI idiocy at work) whilst seeing AI pretty much shoved into everything. The backlash has been pretty intense and the problems plain to see, and I have heard a growing number of times how resentful people are becoming of the whole AI thing now. recently though the AI bubble bursting has started a real movement amongst people, I am hearing it more and more, and how generally users and investors are seeing a real lack of firm hard results on the vast amounts of money spent. More people talking about the need to spend more money on decreasing returns is a common theme, like other tech bubbles – I have seen this time and time again over the 40 years I have personally been involved in tech and computers, and I have to add that usually there is no smoke without fire…
