The Australian govt has announced that it will ban Youtube for the under 16’s soon along with Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, X and Snapchat amongst others. I am hearing that in the UK these platforms are also coming under pressure to ban them, but it will be for the under 18s. This will mark a huge change in how teenagers and young adults consume content and will only hurt things in the future as those people will go deeper and just find alternative, often illegal ways to see what they want to see. I said last year this would happen and here it is…. being on the tinternet is gonna get expensive soon as those free vpns and things disappear for good – probably with “free” accounts as well
