Now call me a cynic – but this seems yet another step too far from Apple but I seriously doubt anyone will care. In a cynical move Apple will take 30% from your money by making Patreon switch to using their in app store payment method….
So creators will basically lose 30% if the donations are from using Patreon on Apple devices. That is just wrong Apple and also I’m pretty sure the EU will get involved. I can honestly see Apple losing out big time if they continue down this road of baiting the EU!
